Demons Roots Complete Walkthroughs for each chapter, secrets, achievements etc

Complete Demons Roots walkthroughs for each chapter, secrets, achievements, weapon, boss guide and more…

Introduction

This guide will only cover somewhat meaningful secrets(at the very worst equipment pieces), I won’t cover every useless random consumable you can find.

I will also give info you need to know not to miss some scenes.

Basically following this guide will ensure you get all achievements/stat boost items/best equipment.

Party + Stats Recommendation

I recommend checking this section only a bit later into the game.
This is pretty close to NG end parties. Before those – you will mostly be forced into the characters you have to use.

Stat items:

HP/DEF/MDEF – Ange, only she is taking damage so those are no debate.
ATK – I prefer to stack it on Kalinka as she further buffs it in battle.
Her eventual best in slot weapon/accessory combo synergizes well with boosting her atk too.
LUCK – lily, she has poison/bleed which need luck.
MATK – Sarasa… or Polca. Problem with Sarasa is that she eventually gets too weak to matter.
AGI – there aren’t many in the game to matter much, best use I found is if you don’t plan to reach lvl 99 – Naj/Lily level gap might become too high resulting in Naj doing buff after Lily already moves. A few agi boosts will solve a lvl gap.
Max MPdon’t really matter…

Random Encounter Party

Kalinka, Lily, Polca, Sarasa
Kalinka can take down 1 target pretty much near guaranteed with good weapons.
Lily/Polca can both equip whips which hit whole enemy party. And both also have potentially good single target damage as well.
Sarasa is amazing early while your basic attack weapons are not too good yet.

Boss Party

Ange, Naj, Kalinka, Lily
Ange is no brainer – her main role is stacking loads of evasion while having high defensive stats on top of that and being able to upkeep double def/mdef buff on herself while at it.

Naj can heal but his goal is mainly his crit buff and all stat buff. His crit buff is ~20-30% chance increase at least and crits themselves usually deal ~3-4 times more damage depending on enemy stats.
This is simply more efficient than having a 3rd character who can attack.

Kalinka is best physical damager in the game. While game says that her buffs stack – they only stack additively, so you only want to use one. Best damage per turn increase one is MEGA(not giga) buster.

Lily is weaker than Kalinka as phys dmger but has a lot of utility in form of bleed/poison/debuffs.

Prologue

Geo Louise/Girl part

You are free to equip anything, don’t worry about items not staying with you or anything.

There is no Autosave in the game – so make sure you save frequently.
I also recommend going to options and turning ON ‘always dash’.

Feel free to talk with everyone but the 2 secrets you need are in the ‘marketplace’ you will reach as you go forward:
1) Near the ‘cat’ statue.
2) To the very north in this same area is a hard hat – get it for another achieve.

Now proceed forward until you fight boss.
Use skills to keep it in either slip or faint.

Now you need to get an achievement for killing all enemies. First go west past boss and kill the lone enemy there.
All the remaining enemies are in the areas you have already been in.

Now backtrack for the other treasure:
1) From marketplace where you got 2 achievement treasures go south
2) Now smack the barrels to the right of the house.
3) One chest is obviously in front of you.
4) But there is one more hat hidden inside the house(this one is super good and makes the battles MUCH easier) – head 3 steps up from the chest and try going inside the house.

Scour the areas you visited so far for remaining enemies and you will get the achievement for killing all.

This is all you need in this part – keep going forward.

Demon part

It’s linear with no secrets until your first mandatory fight with guards.

Once you can move after that – first click the statue to get back all items you gathered in Geo Louise/girl part.

Now there is an OPTIONAL item you can get if you want – it’s technically designed to be gotten via clue from an optional H scene currency shop quite a bit later on so it might be a bit strong atm.. but nothing too crazy.
No real reason not to grab it I would say – don’t use it if you don’t want to at worst.

To grab it:
1) Go south until you see two columns(not ones near area start) and touch the Right column from right side. A special interaction will appear
2) Return to where you started from and click the following:
Bottom left pillar from the top side
Top right pillar from left side.
Statue where you got equipment from behind
If done correctly – this opens a path to special weapon for Deathpolca.

Moving on – go south until you reach the next area(western district)
In this area there is treasure ACHIEVE.
Keep hugging west forest while going down and you will soon find an invisible path through the forest. Gives one of the pemanent stat boosts. Check recommendations for spending those above.

There is a tent to the east from where boss scene happened in girl part.
You can grab the equipment display.
Opening chest is OPTIONAL – clue is technically obtained a bit later into the game from one of optional H content spots. But password is 1936 if you want to open it now.
Chest has Ultimate Scroll.
Ultimate scrolls increase chance of ‘instant kill’ when attacking from the back. This eventually reaches 100% if you get them across multiple playthrough.

Keep moving until you reach west/north path split near the bridge.
West path has an equip piece/dead end.

Keep going forward now until scene/fight. After that go south and you will see a chest – to grab it simply go 1 tile north from the fence into the house.

There are no more noteworthy secrets so just progress and eventually fight an easy boss.

Chapter 1 – (1/2)

There is nothing noteworthy in hospital so just leave it when you can.

Now you are free to explore and are much more free in how you explore from now on.
As mentioned before – I will only mention noteworthy stuff like equipment/big amounts of cash and permanent stat consumables + other secrets and achieves.

But you are free to run around grabbing everything. This is where you get tutorial on ‘books’ as well.. which are pretty much just exp consumables.
While new allies you get will usually start at lower level – I would say there is no real need to hoard those actively, but keep a few for such moments.

Stairs right north from hospital lead into room with permanent stat boost.

Go to the very east to grab a shield from the stand.
Now take stairs going down nearby which lead to library which is kinda like tutorial/insight on lore with minor loot in between. I highly recommend you to visit it since I won’t provide facts the library gives you. Read the books – there is even a perma stat boost among them. There is a high exp book if you go up the suspicious ladder too.

Head to the throneroom now for some cutscenes.
You can go behind the throne and click it from there for some treasure.

Now go all the way south and talk with a demon outside the castle to get sent to Estate.
There is also a demon south from him who exchanges books to a healing consumable – not really worth it.
Either way – demon near castle is simply teleportation tool to get you to estate without walking all the way. You can technically reexplore instead but there is nothing new that’s important.

Once in estate:
Plant near piano has 3k
Play piano 5 times and talk to maid for a minor consumable.
Head upstairs and go west/east – it seems like a dead end with empty shelves but there is 50k on each side hidden in western/eastern walls 1 tiles from the very bottom

There is nothing else so go north and talk with demon to progress story.

A lot of enemies in the game drop some rare equipment, often a weapon with element you need… it’s not something important/required, just letting you know.
You can later buy most of them from special NPC for collection reasons if you really want to.

Top Right cell has a secret room which gives ACHIEVEMENT. It’s on the east wall below the bed.

There isn’t anything remotely important for a very long time so just keep progressing..
Eventually you reach the split path of west/north with north going up – west is a dead end with warrior bangle.

Progress out for cutscenes. You are in somewhat open area now.
Well can be used as shortcut to start of prison dungeon.
Shops sell mostly crap if you are gathering secrets along the way.

North stairs is where you need to go but before that visit west for a scene near monument.

Inside the palace:
West path is dead end with 2 revival items in barrels.
East is dead end with a shield.

Second floor has a ‘strong enemy’ it will ONE SHOT you most likely. You will need to visit it later, do NOT fight it. Or at least save the game if you want to see yourself getting killed in one shot for some reason.
Behind this enemy are stat boosts.

Nothing important all the way until King’s throne room for an easy boss battle.
After defeating boss – there is ACHIEVEMENT you can get. Eastern wall in eastern room has secret path. to walk through.
Eastern room chest has stat boost.

Proceed to the north for first serious boss.
First stage of the fight – simply blind him and heal up.. eventually lily killer joins you.
Her special does quite a lot of damage. Deathpolica mostly heals/blinds.

After boss fight – feel free to grab barrels top right/left for revival items.
Return to the estate via the usual flying demon, he is near the castle entrance.

Cutscenes happen and you get to play as Ange. The house has a helmet you can grab.
There is nothing much to do – harvest everything and interact with chest near house 3 times afterwards.

Follow the story for a long set of cutscenes.
Eventually you reach Fckingdom – optional H scene content..
As game mentions – it’s fully optional but it’s one of the 2 main sources of H scenes, this one is more ‘vanilla’.
Main game itself has almost no H.

If you decide to enter it – first scene is mandatory but after that you are free to move around.
I won’t make in depth guide for it but instead quickly summarize it:
You can lose virginity on level 18 for a scene for anyone aside of Polca and Lily for whom it’s plot related.
WARNING IF YOU DON’T WANT TO LOSE A SCENE:
Each character aside of Polca/Lily has a ‘kidnapping’ scene if she is still virgin. You need to see it first before you lose virginity here if you want all scenes.
The ‘virgin loss’ in fckingdom can be done even as non virgin.
(If you want to see the scene, make a separate save, after you see the scene, save in another file so you unlock it in gallery)

All girls have a total of 2 gachas they can do – one is after losing virginity though.
Each gacha has 3 scenes in total – they are mostly a variation of same scene though. You can save scum them to essentially do them infinitely if you reload any R, just make sure to toggle ‘skip’ in the gacha menu so you skip scenes you have seen already.
You can view them from the menu any time you want anyway.

This area will update as you get more allies obviously.
The currency you get here is spent in shop to the south.
I will describe what the items actually are:
1) Weapons/accessory – pretty obvious… and quite cheap.. usually not too great… Polca has AoE whip which is nice when facing small fry.
2) ‘Treasure maps’ – those give you video clue to the secret like the weapon I told you about in prologue.
3) ‘Weakening scrolls’ – remember enemy who could one shot us that I told you to skip? Yeah, that one will be weaker if you use this scroll. I personally won’t expect you to use those since that kinda removes the fun in them and this whole content is entirely optional to begin with… but you are free to use them and revisit those bosses earlier than I will mention revisiting them.
To summ it up – there is technically nothing really mandatory to buy if you follow the guide.
Savescumming however would allow you to buy anything you really want as early as you want.

Keep in mind I will presume you aren’t using this content aside of maybe for equip/accessory.

Moving on with the story now, another long set of cutscenes.
You get a mini tutorial on Bad End Mode eventually – it’s basically the 2nd and final H content source of the game focusing on much darker type of H. It’s also a special ‘puzzle’ game mode technically.
To actually ‘complete’ it – you will need all characters before you try it seriously.

I will describe how the gist of it works instead:
1) The mode consists of 20 floor long dungeon(and a guaranteed loss on floor 21)
2) There is 1 unique scene for each heroine you write the name of when starting dungeon.
To see this one you simply need to lose, no need to actually tackle dungeon at all.
3) Each floor has ‘red orb’ which gives a ‘reward’ you need to ‘beat the stages’ essentially, There are a total of 20 ‘red orb’ unique scene IF you have the required girls.. otherwise a duplicate of another red orb will play out.
This is main reason I say not to bother early on…
Since there are 21 floors(21 is game over) – if you want to beat all floors you will essentially see all of the scenes anyway so doing those earlier is mostly waste of time.
4) There are a few unique scenes you can get on top of that with different requirements – I will mention them when I recommend getting them.
5) After doing bad mode make sure to save the game to actually make game remember your save file.

The NW house has ‘surrender’ option to get into bad end instantly.
Basically if you want to – at most grab a fast ‘loss’ scene(select name of girls and lose to the very first enemy by only guarding) with each girl you have and stop at that. I don’t recommend doing anything beyond that for now.
But this can be done any time.

Chapter 1 – (2/2)

Moving onto with main story yet again, I promise no more such big distractions are coming.

Talk with Tadeira for 2 spirit stones and head east.

Now that we have 2 allies I will talk about strategy a bit:
Ange is the absolute queen of this game and IMO the only absolutely mandatory character in the game.
Basically she is the only one you will want in your party no matter what.
The reason for that is her being able to soak ALL damage for other allies. So you basically stack all best defensive stat on her and laugh and your enemy trying to do something against that. Becomes increasingly important the harder the enemies become.
She starts at level 1 so certainly feed her some books.
She is also top tier here since she can make enemy ‘slaves’ die in 1 turn with big chance.

Regarding equipment – I recommend giving the sword we found to Ange for now since her other equip options suck atm. Instead use claw.

The area is pretty big but has nothing too important.
Let’s call it forest 1. For now feel free to grab spear at the northernmost point of the area and then head west to get to battlefield area.
Battlefield area has shortcut to starting area in the south. To continue however go further west into forest 2.

In forest 2 keep going west first.
After bridge head north into cave inside you will see 2 ‘earth pillars’ and 1 stone forming L shape. Run around this clockwise multiple times until secret room opens up.
It’s the ‘treasure hint’ secret room with weapon for Ange.
Go back and take an accessory + ACHIEVEMENT in the dead end of the cave.

Exit the cave and go further west. There are 2 splits both going north. Take the east one and hug the east forest to go through forest for a stat boost item.

Continue on north and you get scene where Mebius joins you.
Return to Remnant Tadeira in the place you started to receive a lot of goodies including stat boost items.

Go back to where you came from and proceed until next area – before going north go east to grab a chest with stat boost.
North is a bossfight.
Anje can make the ‘random gladiators’ surrender with her skill.
Macho is the weaker enemy out of remaining 2. Polca mostly serves as healer, Anje can tank.

Inside the castle SW corner has an armor.
NW corner has the key you need to progress + weapon/armor on stands.

Progress to SE corner to open the door and eventually reach B1 area.
The door as you go through B1 is a warehouse with NPC who gives spirit soul stone + a party restore sphere.

As you go west past locked door and see a torch you will see a suspiciously cracked wall to the south. It’s an ACHIEVEMENT secret path.

Next up is going towards the boss.
Boss itself is very easy. Remove slaves via Anje and there is nothing more to it really.

You can now open locked door on the way back and pull the level. This opens up a wall north from where locked door was. You can use this to bypass enemy.
As you reach closer to the end of this ‘shortcut’ – instead of going north and out of it go south instead for a chest you can’t see which has stat boost item.

As you return to 1F you can the open yet another shortcut afterwards and end up in a long set of cutscenes concluding the chapter.

Chapter 2 – (1/3)

Chapter 2 starts at farm – feel free to reharvest vegetables if you want to.

Go out of the farm and into the marketplace.

Marketplace has a few interesting things:
1) Top NPC sells outdated rare drop equipment from monsters and 2 ocarinas you can use from item menu infinitely.
One ocarina is for teleporting back home and another one is for summoning a random encounter.
2) Doll is used to get weakening scrolls for ‘special enemies'(similar to doremi purchases) and hints for ‘password’ chests based on your ‘bad end mode’ progression. This means you can weaken those twice to make things super trivial.
As usual – you can ignore this since I will give you passwords and I assume you won’t weaken the enemy.
3) You can buy ‘high books’ once on the southern table.

Go to estate now for a fight against Claura which boosts your stats a bit.
It can’t be lost I think.

Now go inside the mansion.
From now on – you have some freedom to do extra content.

But we will mostly skip side stuff for now.
The only thing I recommend to do is to get Anji kidnapping H scene.
For that visit Shingana – don’t bother to talking with Remnant, it’s ‘EX content’ we will tackle later.
Instead simply visit Forest 1 location. An event will auto start if Anji was still virgin.
If you beat such events – you get a small reward of spirit stones. Don’t bother. Just wait 3 minutes for a unique H scene to happen instead.
You can STILL experience the virgin scene in doremi after that, don’t worry.
Basically kidnapping > doremi order is the only way to get all scenes in one playthrough.

With scene in hand – feel free to go for new Gacha in doremi or move onto main story.
The gacha always remains in same place for the characters, it’s just 3 new scenes getting added to the pool of possible ones.

Merchant Kindom Plana is our destination.
There are only 2 important things to do here:
1) Go west and up the stairs in the starting area for a chest with a stat boost.
2) Talk with 5 ‘dialogue bubble’ NPC for an ACHIEVEMENT, they are all in the starting area.

The weapon/accessory merchants sell some quite expensive equipment you likely can’t afford until much later.

Fun fact: even if you have 1 million – the guy in the luxury hotel will still tell recommend a hovel instead. Guess simply having money does not make you elite enough.

Your goal is east side of the town. Enter the ‘backstage’ dungeon to progress.

On the first fork go north for a chest.
Now click the crest below it, this is part of the treasure hunting clue. You should hear a sound which means it worked.
There is nothing interesting in this area so continue all the way to ‘interior’ area.

Inside ‘interior’ area take the first path to the north now which is dead end with flame bow.
Now go to second north path which is also dead end.

You should end up in room with a lot of ‘crests’.
You need to touch in following order:
Easternmost crest > NW crest(the very first one near the chest) > southernmost one
You get a secret weapon for Kalinka – the gladiator ally you will eventually get.

Now follow the only remaining path into next area.
Next area has quite a few random treasure chests but only one has something – the one to the NW from ‘crystal ball’ giving you 1 stat boost item.

Once you see the healing sphere – you are near the boss. It’s super easy, do basic attack with Mebius and water slash with Anji.
Progress the story until you get Kalinka and are free to move.
Kalinka starts lvl 1 so a bit books are a good idea. You can grab some books in the inn too.

There ain’t much to do except heading into Colosseum to the north now.
In hunting grounds area you need 100 Poison Fangs but it’s easy to get them by grabbing chests/talking to people in this area.
What you want to get aside of that is:
1) ‘Black chest’ above gatekeeper to next area has gladiator armor
2) To the east from gatekeeper in SE corner is a hidden path to 50 poison fang which also gives ACHIEVEMENT.

Next area is desert area – it’s somewhat big but nothing special.
The only noteworthy treasure is in NE corner which is a stat boost item.

Next area is jungle – you will need to defeat a total of 4 groups with the last being boss fight.
You can ambush or get ambushed in first 3 fights but it hardly matters.
Macho boss can pack a punch if RNG gives him a triple attack twice but other than that nothing too hard. Kalinka does big damage to humans with her ‘gladius’ skill.

After the fight talk with Macho for a Spirit Soul Stone.

Next up is yet another boss fight.
It’s a 2 stage fight – during first stage you are not supposed to win. Simply skip turns until you get to the 2nd stage.
Once the real battle happens – wind on Ange and Gladius on Kalinka against small fry while healing with Polca to eventually win.

After a lot of cutscenes once you can move go up the stairs to grab chests with equip.

Then move forward with the story by heading to Rooklook – we are still a party of 2 for now.

There is an OPTIONAL treasure hunting item you can get here:
1) Go NW to find first ‘cat statue’ and stand below it.
Now do those steps: Right > Down > Left > Left > Up
If you did it correctly you will get a ‘sound effect’
You need 2 more such ‘cat’ places.
2) Go to NW corner there is a cat on the trees – start below it and:
Left x2 > Down > Right > Down x3 > Right > Up x3 > Right x2 > Up > Left
You should end up 1 tile away from the cat and get sound effect if it worked.
3) From place above keep heading east until NE corner and then go south – you will see a cat on top of the trees again
Stand directly below it and:
Down > Left x2 > Down x3 > Left > Up x8 > Right > Down
Final sound effect happens and you can go to the middle of flower field to get secret chest with a Staff for future ally.

Nothing else that is interesting here. Save the game before heading north just in case.
After scenes you will get trapped in the cave with very strong monsters.

Those shouldn’t be a problem however if you do the following:
1) Polica – keeps casting ancient mist and ‘demons roots’ when available.
2) Ange – keeps her tanking up, stacking as much evasion as she can via equip and using HP regen hat.
3) Mebius basic attack hits weakness.

The ‘stone’ on the right is Lapis Lazuli, a great accessory for Ange which gives great defensive stats and halves the chance of getting ailments.
Highly recommended. The other stones are simple spirit stones, feel free to ignore.

Get out of the area now. Your next goal is Tolkia kingdom
Head East first to trigger the second stone tablet event.
Dragons are not something you can handle yet so follow the advice and go through western path.
There is actually a trick to get treasure behind the dragon boss without alerting him by running very fast by him while holding east wall initially… but treasure isn’t even worth the trouble, so not recommended.

Keep going through middle layer until you are in dragon cave again.
To the south are 2 chests you can grab by walking on ‘stones’ on the water.
The chest below NPC has a pretty decent shield.

It’s pretty linear path with a scene in between, you might need to block dragon with a boulder. Eventually you reach upper dragon falls.
Make sure you smack the barrel to the east for a Rusted Ring.
Nothing else to do but to continue on now until boss.
At first you can’t do much, but enemy isn’t too strong either – just skip turns until Kalinka joins you.
Kalinka Gladius move is your biggest damage against it. Make sure to boost her with her magic skill to speed it up.
Polca with her secret sword can actually deal full damage too.. Ange does a bit damage too if she doesn’t need to defend.

Kalinka finally joins us for good. And she is the only one who appreciates Ange for the absolute monster that she is.
Ironically she is also the absolute beast herself, being potentially strongest physical atk’er.

Rescuing the queen is pretty straightforward – grab chests while you are there.
Now start running away.

Chapter 2 – (2/3)

Baby dragons in those areas can drop a ‘Dirty Ring’, I recommend getting one for later, it’s a rare drop. Best to farm it via first waterfall area/cave entrance exits and hitting from behind the enemy in the waterfall area.

Inside the cave – going south down the ladder is dead end with minor loot.
You need to start going east instead. After the very first enemy start hugging the north wall and touching them – you eventually will reveal secret entrance instead of one of walls, yielding you knight helmet.

Keep going until you reach next cave which has another door nearby.
The door nearby is minor loot dead end.
Going west is dead end with flame knuckles.
Going south is the way to proceed.

The door down there is way to proceed but BEFORE that go south into seemingly dead end…
You will see a suspicious ‘rocky wall’ to the south. From the tile with it go left 2 times and click south wall for a rope to appear and spawn the SECRET treasure.

There is nothing important left to get so you only need to move forward until health restoration sphere.
The chest south from it has spirit soul stone.

And a boss fight is about to happen now.
While it seems like you are supposed to lose this one – you actually will win this one.
This is thanks to Ange getting her main tanking ultimate and what makes her crazy.
Complete invulnerability for a turn while absorbing enemy attacks.
Focus dragons first and it’s easy from there. Don’t forget to selfboost Kalinka.

After the boss fight you will be back to your Estate.
Feel free to talk to everyone.
Feel free to teleport to castle and talk with Remnants there.. Mebius will give you spirit soul stone.

Now since we have Kalinka I highly recommend getting her H scene just like we did with Ange.
Teleport to Plana city. The red sign tells about EX dungeon as usual.
Talk with the old man a bit norther while you are here and buy a dragon penis(!!!) – you will need 7 of those eventually!
Now go north into Colosseum and then west to jungle area where she gets kindapped.
Wait 3 minutes for a scene again.
From where you appear after H scene I recommend going NE to desert.
If you go to where desert entrance was – there will be the flying demon who will set up a teleport there for a shortcut into this area for the future.

Feel free to go to Doremi now that you have Kalinka for her gacha scenes.
A few new items are there including better whip.

I would say now is a good time to go do some extra content.

Revisiting old areas/EX dungeons

All old area revisits are fully optional but they net achievements and some equip/stat boosts/levels, I assume you will do them BUT if you only want to push main quest – there shouldn’t be much problem to skip those revisits. Main quest is never too hard, especially with secret weapons we get along the way.

Let us start with Tortas City
Go into armor shop – there is an NPC who will transform ‘weird’ rings into better ones.
So far we should have dirty > fortune(if you farmed baby dragon) and rusty > forerunner

Go to Palace now.
Inside the palace the only interesting thing is the boss we skipped.
If you start heading north – you will notice how path to the east where slaves were blocking you is free now, this is a shortcut to said boss.
The boss still packs a punch but he should be doable now without powering him down via bad end/fckingdom.
He is pure mage so upkeep mag def with Polca and try to maximize dodging on Ange. Heal her when needed.
He is strong but doesn’t have much HP.
Talk with NPC after defeating it. Also go to area he was blocking and smash pots there for stat boost items.

Next up go out of palace and inside the well which leads you close to where you started in prison.
Go to SW corner which was Polca’s cell and smash the pots for items including stat boost.
The cell next to her is the EX dungeon.
The dungeon itself is only main quest difficulty tier by now at worst.
Items in the dungeon are nothing noteworthy so just explore/gain a bit levels as you get to boss.
The boss is 6 slimes. Shouldn’t be a problem but if Ange gets unlucky and gets confused she will stop blocking for you. Overall they only have ~3k HP and once a few dies you have no chance to lose anymore.
Inside the chest is double attack weapon with water element.. kinda okay for Polca basic attacking but she rarely does that, so I prefer secret sword for TP regen.

Next up is Kingdom of Shingana
Talk with Scathach(if you didn’t already) to get key.

There is nothing else interesting in old areas so just go north twice, talk with flying demon on the way to castle to open up a teleportation point.

Inside the castle you will be shown where to go with the key(east from entrance)
Before you go there – head further from locked door and speak with female NPC who will give you Dragon Penis(!!!), should be your 2nd.

Beyond locked door is a ‘password chest’ – 4276 with another ultimate scroll.
Now it’s linear path to EX dungeon. This dungeon has slaves who still surrender to Ange.

In this EX dungeon there are 2 stat boost items in golden pots in the initial 3 paths. One is in eastern and another in western, middle has nothing.
Nothing else is noteworthy until boss.
Boss is easy and can even be blinded, just get rid of slaves and he poses no danger.
Use ocarina or return scroll to get out of dungeon.

Next up is Kingdom of Plana
If you already have Desert teleport unlocked then use it.
From teleporter go a bit west and then north to reach oasis with a huge hole in it.
This is the EX dungeon.
This one is a bit challenging already but nothing too serious.
Water/fire are weaknesses here. You need Kalinka to reach 24 ideally for her fire move.
Start by heading west for stat boost in gold pot. Grab gem nearby for ‘Topaz’ accessory.
There is one more gold pot stat boost to the very east of this dungeon in the middle approx.
Bosses here are 2 big birds who are mostly magic enemies. Upkeep magic def with Polca and damage mostly with buffed up Kalinka via fire element skill.
If Ange has free turn – her water does good damage as well.
‘Demons Roots’ on Polca also hits weakness.
It’s technically pretty tough but having so many weak spots makes the damage values pretty crazy.

Return to Bohelos Estate now and build Hot Springs for 100k if you want to.
It gives you a 5% TP regen buff for some time after visiting it.
This lasts for quite a long while(seems like random number of actions, but likely ~5-10 battles), so a good idea to use before some dungeon.

That’s it for side content for now. We will return to Tolkia later when we can handle the dragon boss there. It IS technically doable if you weaken it.. but I will assume you do it later.

Chapter 2 – (3/3)

Heading onto Rooklook to continue the story.
There is nothing new in old areas so just go into city.

Enter the ‘Magic Gymnasium’ dungeon.
Area might seem complex but it’s actually super linear with very short dead ends. The most noteworthy is a decent armor piece on stand to the SW
Big enemy is pretty sturdy but weak to water.

Inside garden there is 1 chest with equip.

Next area is classroom 263 where you can grab staff + armor on stand and some books.
Also a decent 5% evasion shield outside of classroom.
Moving onward a forced H scene will happen.
Afterwards a fight happens – it’s pretty easy as enemies pose no danger and have almost no HP but a 3000 HP barrier protecting them .

There is nothing noteworthy so return back to courtyard for another scene.
After scene go south to grab 3 chests with thunder weapons guarded by 2 big enemies.
Going west is shortcut to start of area, nothing to do there.
Up top are 2 small doors: punishment room and staff room.

Staff room has a ‘special boss’ – this one is actually doable right now. He is somewhat opposite of previous one – only about as strong and rarely attacks but has a big amount of HP.
He is weak to fire and poison(will lose 5k HP per turn).
It will mostly try to do conditions but if you have lapis lazuli from monster room then Ange will ignore them with super high chance.
Stat boost behind this boss.

Punishment room is closed.
So only the big door NE remains leading into research lab.

Somewhat big area. If you want to progress – go NW, every other path is dead end/has some loot you can grab… bookshelves also tend to give books.
Door near next area entrance is simply a healing point.

Next up is magic barrier area. Head NE first to a graveyard, the 2 shelves there have stat boost items.
Nothing important left so NW to reach Student Dorms.
Some doors can be opened here for some books… you can also skip the 3 enemies via door nearby and secret path on east wall.

The door which is east from teacher NPC on the west side of the crates connects to door near him – you can open this secret shortcut on west wall of first door from the east there. We will use this shortcut soon.
The last door in SE corner has an ACHIEVEMENT secret key.

Before we progress further – use the previous shortcut to reach teacher NPC. The westernmost door there is now unlockable and has a stat boost item in one of chests.
You can also go back to ‘Research Lab’ 2 areas back to create another shortcut from NW corner to SW corner. With chests in between those containing spirit soul stones.. but those are up to you, not too important.
Move on.

BEFORE you enter the obvious boss room – check one of the cracked walls in SE corner – it’s an ACHIEVEMENT. revealing a save point.
Boss itself is super easy but quite long since you will have to take down 2x10k HP barriers on top of boss HP.

After boss you will enter a small story scenario with easy fights and no secrets, just progress linearly to eventually conclude this city.

Sarasa joins you and your city is getting attacked
Sarasa is a mage..
If you plan to use her – you will likely want to turn on the ‘command remember’ in the settings so she can spam some good spell while you simply hold Z in random fights.
On a positive note she can cover a lot of weak spots.
She is pretty strong if used well but is not good if you just want to basic attack fast through encounters.
Feed some books to her since she starts level 1 and equip her with her secret weapon you got a long while ago.

Your goal in the big open area is NE corner. But first take down 8 enemy groups here for an ACHIEVEMENT. Any group counts. You can also talk with a demon to the east near the bridge afterward for 5 revivals as reward.
Area itself has some mythril equip you can grab if you want but it’s nothing too special.

Inside the barracks you can grab some books/mythril gear as well.
Keep going linearly until you reach green demon who will open up a shortcut.

As you continue there will be a long corridor with ‘2 plants’ on each side.
Hug west wall between 1st and 2nd set of ‘2 plants’ for a secret path leading to ACHIEVEMENT and secret sludge enemy. Mythril shield is an improvement to Ange.

As you continue north there will be a miniboss. After that another shortcut can be done.
Next area is magic lab.
First 2 rooms are a bit loot. 3rd to continue. Up north is a healing point, but west to continue.
Room with big enemy has mage staff.

As you go further you will see a wounded demon. North from him is way to boss.
South of him you can unlock shortcut with healing spot.
Also if you go further south – there is a very nice magic robe for Sarasa you can get to by smashing barrels.
While boss fight might seem like it’s something dangerous… it’s honestly not. For a reason.
Kudan does have one dangerous move but it will take a lot of punishment for him to start using it.. so just take down the pink haired one first.

Once you take down enough HP from Kudan he will one shot your whole team.

A lot of events will happens, just progress story linearly and eventually chapter 3 will start.

Chapter 3 – (1/3)

You start with a different character now.
Capture 3 demons to continue.

Basically do as told in the story for a while – don’t try fighting robots since you will simply die.
Fighting humans however is easy.

Eventually you unlock machine gun skill.
If you didn’t already – click button nearby and go east first to grab a weapon behind green door.
Once you get to level 9 you can kill robots in one shot of machine gun + lightning rod skill.
There are 2 chests in robot area – 1 has stat boost and another has helmet.

While your goal is east from where you came I first recommend going south and into the middle of the screen first – there are levers to open up a shortcut and a door near east area.
More importantly there is a very good accessory in a chest – gun holster which raises atk quite well.
Be careful though – robots in the middle are in groups of two, can be dangerous.

Once you are done grabbing loot – head to eastern area.
It’s linear except there is ‘dangerous’ area in the middle. Avoid it for now.
You will end up near a possible shortcut and a boss fight.
More like a normal fight though since Sarasa can just wipe them out with AoE thunder spell. Fire works good too.
Fight will be easy and you now are a party of 5.. but can only use 4 party members.

All allies gain exp equally even if they are not in party. Since Diana is low level for now – I recommend swapping her out.
Sarasa with her AoE thunder will be wiping out stuff really well in this map.

You can now get through dangerous area in the middle, the robots have loads of HP, but not enough power to match a whole party.
Knight’s bangle in one of chests there is great accessory for atk.
Go south now and remove the crates.

In storage room area there are a lot of interactable objects for fun dialogue, so feel free to try and touch everything.
You also unlock shotgun + ACHIEVEMENT for it and get Laser claws, which are rather strong x2 basic attack weapon. Likely not worth over secret weapons if you are using skills though.

You are now in ‘teleportation’ room with 3 possible options of where to go.
The way to proceed is westernmost teleport but you are free to loot the other area.
The middle one in particular has a shield with LOADS of magic defense and 10% evasion, amazing for Ange.

The next split you need westernmost teleport again to progress. Middle one has NPC we will eventually revisit for a reward.
Keep progressing for a while until you see an NPC who tells you about enemy weaknesses.
The teleporter near that NPC leads you to yet another of the same shield.
I gave 2nd one to Kalinka as she is lacking Mdef.

As you keep progressing – it’s the usual pattern of last teleport being the way to progress and all other are loot.
Once you reach red warning sign – you are about to enter boss fight.
Sarasa AoE thunder should wipe out the additional mobs while everyone else focuses robot guy. He is weak to fire/thunder.
From there it’s pretty easy.

Cutscenes commence and you are now free to move around with a party of 4 for now.
But that is enough.
The boss dropped an amazing accessory boosting attack/agility insanely, nice for Kalinka.

Let us tackle optional content now. If you don’t want to – skip to the next big section as usual.

Optional content + revisits

Let’s start by revisiting marketplace.
The merchant to the north has new rare gear, all might hat is nice if you don’t have it on Sarasa.
He also sells dragon penis, buy it and you should have 3/7 now.
That’s it here.

As you try to visit world map – Ultra Beast Advent happens.
If you go there – you will be killed… exactly the thing we want.
Just kidding, we are here to grab a dragon shield to the west and then leave.

Now let us revisit the Invasion/training area.
Teleport to Bohelos Castle and the demon there should allow you to fly towards Training Grounds.. talking with demon there will allow you to travel there directly in the future should you ever want to.
Go inside barracks and keep walking straight north through 2 shortcuts you have created previously. You should reach entrance to next area.
Instead of going inside – head west. There is an NPC with dialogue + 2 stat boost items near him.
That’s it here unless you want to reach the very end of the area for a mere spirit soul stone.

Equip Dragon Shield and accessories dragon king cape + anal jewelry(or lapis lazuli)
Now head to Tolkia kingdom.

Start by going NW – there is a slave who will give you a dragon penis 4/7.
Simple dragons should be trivial by now. Boss will be a bit challenging.
Dragons are still very strong but don’t have much HP. They are weak to ice – If Sarasa gets to lvl 34 her improved single target ice magic will do massive damage.
SE corner of the cave has dragon guarding lots of spirit stones.

Boss dragon has huge HP pool of ~50-60k but is not too much stronger offensively.
Upkeep both evasion buffs of Ange and heal her.. unless you get unlucky you should be fine.
Demons Roots are high chance RNG way to skip fire breath. Aegis storm is a guarantee.

After you defeat boss grab chests. You can talk with the guy on top of the bridge for a spirit soul stone. Keep going up just like in story to reach the dragon you might remember avoiding. there is chest with another dragon shield behind it. Keep going to where you rescued queen and you will see a flying demon there who opens up a teleportation point.
You can go until the very end to where boss was if you want to get some spirit stones, there will also be a demon who can get you out.. or you can just leave now.

That’s it for optional content for now.

Chapter 3 – (2/3)

Go to Land of Sacrifice Orphe

First go to NW small path to reach another Bohelos monument and the 3rd cutscene with it. There is also chest with mythril dagger behind it.

The area is pretty big but there are no secrets here and only loot in plain sight.
NE corner is where you want to go if you want to progress to next area.

Inside the city there is only one non blocked path and that is NE again.
After the cutscene there exit the city to continue story.
Go where cutscene shows to find Diana.

Now you need to find 3 plants – they are all in this area:
1) Simply head a bit east from Diana.
2) Continue east, once across the bridge go north between the walls.
3) Continue along the path and back west when it’s available. Should be near old man/woman.
Return to Diana now.

After a long set of cutscenes Diana finally joins you for good.
I would say Diana is the one you want to generally leave out of your party.
Her main trick is limited ammo weaponry which are best used for harder encounters while wielding specialized gear.

Go back into city now and go NW corner to open the previously locked door into evacuation route area.
Ice is a weakness here.

West of where you start is dead end with a bit loot.
Back to main path and go purely north until 2 chests and 2 holes. One of the holes has stat boost item.

Onto next area – 1F, a few things you can grab here:
1) SE corner – armor on the stand
2) North from it is a small eastern section with a treasure chest which has stat boost item.

There are 2 stairs on 1F, let us start with NW one as it’s optional and only has loot.
On 1F the big enemy is an ACHIEVEMENT. It’s a miniboss with solid HP pool, but buff kalinka and use her gladius to kill him in 3-4 hits.

After that you can get spirit soul stone from woman NPC a bit south of big enemy.
There NE corner also has slave NPC who gives spirit soul stone too.

Go to 2F via NE stairs now.
Go east first and interact with weapon case for ACHIEVEMENT and Diana TP restore skill.

Now continue west.
As you start going south – keep hugging east wall while going south starting with the place where there is chest in the east among crates.
There should be an invisible path slightly below visible stairs on the east side of the screen.
This path leads to the secret area in 1F.
It has bow in the chest but more importantly cracked wall opens up shortcut with 1F and gives ACHIEVEMENT.
Now go back.

Big enemy along the way further south is another mage but you don’t need to kill more than 1 so feel free to avoid this one.
SE corner leads into small area with a stat boost item chest.

Interact with door in SW corner now – it’s not yet boss fight.
A short dialogue will play out and you will need to climb the ladder nearby.

This leads to BOSS fight now.
BEFORE you fight – unequip HP regen hat/shield/lapis lazuli from Ange, she likely uses your best stuff and we will need it for Polca soon.

Don’t worry, you win in one hit, game completed, YAY!
Just kidding.
But the first fight is really over after one hit.

After the fight head back into the room to end up with only Diana + Polca.
The next boss fight you will soon face continues the game even if you lose and it’s hard to win BUT you can win for extra reward!

Only Polca will be in the next boss fight.
I highly recommend equipping her with bohelos sword, best shield, HP regen hat which we removed from Ange.
As for accessories I recommend Lapis Lazuli(resisting silence) + Shield Necklace or Amulet(amulet is a bit more silence resist, shield neck is more def, up to you)

You don’t need to fight any enemies to start boss fight so feel free to skip them and rush forward.

Strategy for boss fight is simple:
Early on use carnivorous plants every turn > if HP starts getting low use full heal > if you are silenced/out of MP use either full HP potion or spirit soul stone.
You can also gamble and use demons roots at high TP but if it fails to slip it can lead to danger.

As he gets to low HP he will stop using his weak magic and only do his strong slice.
At this point you simply have to keep healing until RNG makes him only do 1 slice instead of 2 after which you have a room to safely hit.

With correct equipment set it shouldn’t be too much of a problem, my polca was lvl 50 with no stat boosts but there would be no danger overall by doing everything correctly and being careful even on lower levels.

Once he only spams the slice – don’t worry, he only has ~3-4k HP left so even if you take it slow only aiming for his RNG fails it won’t take too long…
How RNG smiles on you mostly decides how many consumables you waste here.

If you manage to beat him – you get battle princess necklace + ACHIEVEMENT.
It’s a VERY powerful accessory giving 10% TP regen/critical/evasion.
Best candidates for it are Kalinka(combo of turbo arm + this accessory makes her an even bigger powerhouse) or Ange(more evasion/TP regen is crazy for survival if you stack evasion on everything else)

But plot moves on essentially the same way no matter win/loss.

You end up near Maximus entrance.

We can technically do some optional content but I will leave it for later since Rooklook can’t be revisited yet.
Doremi has all atk whip which beats even the Bohelos Sword in terms of atk value – decent for random fights.
Also a defensive accessory which is similar to but 10 def worse than imperial cape you have.

None are really needed though, so feel free to just continue main quest.
Don’t forget to reequip Ange.

Once inside the Maximus castle – bookcases here do not yield books mostly(ironic, I know), the only exclusion is places with ‘dead end’ ladders reading higher into shelve.

Some enemies are weak to fire so fire AoE is best on Sarasa but she will generally be pretty weak here.

The way to continue plot is by pressing the lever BUT every other path is dead end with either equipment or stat boost so visit them first.

Press the 2nd lever after that to continue further again.

Before going for 3rd lever you are free to gather some loot.

4th lever is OPTIONAL go there first for an Achievement by discovering another weapon for Diana.

Before you head south to next area – there is a SECRET path you can get not far from the exit south.
Head NE past the sofas to go through gap between bookshelves. There will be some chests with a key we will use later and stat boost food.

Touch the crystal nearby for H scene.

To the west is chest with magic knight shield, it’s got great defensive stats but no evasion, perfect for Kalinka.

Climb down the ladder south. The way to progression is east but you can grab some books from shelves in south rooms first.

Continue into prison area now.
If you got the west key before – you will be able to open cells here for some loot.
There 2nd row of cells has big enemy near it – it’s the same Archmage miniboss we already fought at least once.
This time you likely have ‘Shade spell’ on Sarasa which should deal ~3k damage besides the usual ~6k damage from buffed up kalinka.
The cell near him has great weapon for Diana.

Keep going forward until you reach the southern side of ‘fire path’.

Now go into the 2nd cell east from here and touch the northern wall of cell to open a secret path which leads to ACHIEVEMENT and also disables the fire for a shortcut.
In the shortcut where ‘fire’ was is a secret path to the cell with 2 chests you couldn’t open. They have stat boosts.

Nothing interesting left in this area, your goal is reaching eastern area.

In between prison areas is a huge matk accessory, great for Sasara.

In eastern prison you won’t be able to open cells yet since you don’t have key.

Keep going until you reach a ‘crest’ made out of water. Go east from the eastern tip of this water to go through wall and get a secret staff from chest + ACHIEVEMENT for it.

As you go further – disable the pedestal to remove fire for a shortcut.

Chapter 3 – (3/3)

Eventually you will reach a forced easy boss fight.
It’s very sturdy but also pretty weak.
Chimeric seed and dark element do great damage here.. and obviously usual Kalinka buffed up gladius.

You get eastern key from this fight but progress further north first and rescue Lily… again.

Now you have to backtrack aaall the way out of prison area.. use shortcuts you opened to speed up the process… feel free to open cells you previously couldn’t and rescue some NPCs but all those only give meh consumables.

You will need to reach nearly all the way up to nearly the northernmost point you can get to.
The place just before last north one you can access basically.

It will have a door near the lever where you need to go.
Enter this door to end up near another door.
Enter the other door and press the lever there.
Now go back to see a ladder nearby – climb it and continue linearly from there to eventually get into boss fight + a big plot twist with King Exit(timeline sequel but first game in reality)

The boss has INSANE amount of HP and will do barrier multiple times.
He is only dangerous if he does two AoE and gets lucky with hit rate against Ange however.
Other than that just long fight.
Upkeep best self buff of Kalinka and do gladius.
Sarasa does her ‘Shade’ attack.
Sarasa will also get her ultimate skill here which is nice for this battle too.

After the boss battle you will be back to estate and inside a long linear story sequence.
You technically only need to see the 4 events to progress:
1) Marketplace
2) Farm
3) South from from castle
4) Castle library
But there is also some extra dialogue to be had in castle throne room/hospital optionally if you want to.
After all 4 you have to visit farm.

Stuff happens and you end up near castle. Go inside.
Also you likely want to swap out Diana, formation got messed up after cutscene.
Your equipment is also a bit messed up since everyone has a crappy accessory in slot 1 now, swap back your previous equip.

All enemies will be weak to thunder here.

You go to hospital first then go back to get Lily and then go outside of castle, ask the flying demon to send you to peace park.
Enter Nursery through either tunnel. They both start at same place.

Encounters here are random encounters.
Technically to progress you only need to get 10 demon kills and go to Scathach in approx NW corner.
The only interesting thing in this dungeon is a chest with armor piece which reduces encounter rate by half, nice for EX dungeons if you don’t want to fight randoms. It’s located approx west from NE corner.

If you defeat 15 or 20 instead – you can grab some spirit stones from NPCs near Scathach. But that’s kinda pointless.

Use flying demon to get back to estate and prepare for a boss fight.
The boss is quite sturdy but otherwise kinda weak. The only weakness is thunder.
If kalinka gets to her ultimate you might luck out with crit and one shot her directly though. My kalinka dealt ~25k damage crit with it.

Boss drops best shield in the game – equip it on Ange afterwards.

After boss a long set of cutscenes commences and you will eventually be lead into choice where one choice is bad end.
You can hold CTRL to skip dialogue very fast to rewatch things.

You need to see bad end first for an extra ACHIEVEMENT, the choices are:
1) Break our promise – leads to ‘bad’ end.
This is technically the ‘TRUE end’ which follows the king exit scenario.
2) Wait enough time and ‘Keep our promise’ will appear allowing you to continue the game.

Eventually you are free to move again.
Take chest slightly to the east of where you start for a stat boost item.

To progress go south and face 3 easy battle.
After the first one Najezta joins you.
Throw some books his way since he is lvl 1, he will perma join you very soon.
Najezta is a jack of all trades pretty much.
Can equip almost any weapon, can do almost anything – heal, do some buffs, deal both physical and magical damage, inflict some debuffs…
Downside is mostly low stats and not too strong skills.
His ultimate is almost like Polca’s – allowign to ‘slip’ even bosses.

Mebius will join you after 2nd combat.
Mebius is a.. weird character.
His stats end up as highest patk… but a lot of his stronger stuff is magic attacks which he has at very low value.
In the end he can’t remotely match Kalinka as patk character.
Considering you want at least Anje + Kalinka + Lily + one of healers in your party(Polca or Najezta) – this will mean you are unlikely to use him in your party unless thunder element is needed or you want to skip using a healer entirely.

Last combat is kinda ‘boss’ but it’s pretty easy.

Once you are done with the fights – you end up in Estate again.
Nothing much to do except talking with flying demon inside and flying to Doremi.
Once inside – cutscenes commence and you will eventually search the safe of the manager.
This concludes the chapter.

Chapter 4 – (1/6)

After you are free to move – head to estate.
Talk with FUH after cutscenes end to get a skill which allows you to return to estate from almost anywhere for 10 spirit stones.

For now you are forced into continuing story by heading to world map.

Once inside Kumin – go into NE corner inn first. Check shelves for some books and 30k.
Then go west from the innkeeper into secret passage which has stat boost.

While you could explore the rest of the city – there is nothing important left.
To continue talk with 3 NPCs who have ‘dialogue bubble’ in initial area and the path will open up NW.
Najezta perma joins you.
Your party will be looking pretty weird now…
I recommend to finally make use of ammo you have been saving up.
So a party of Najezta/Kalinka/Sarasa/Diana.

The helmet on Mebius is pretty nice to make Kalinka even more glass cannon.

To reach the dungeon you need – go west from initial area of the city..

You want to use thunder against the enemies here.

There are 2 ‘mini stairs’ to west/east.
You need west one to get a special key which also gives you ACHIEVEMENT.
East one and main north stairs lead into essentially same area if you have the key.

Once on 2F – visit the SE corner ladder first to get a chest with a ring then proceed to 3F via main stairs.

Once on 3F you will be back to Polca.
There will be some ‘questions’ you can do correctly for a spirit soul stone if you want to:
1) Pick ‘you have to get proper rest’ with one of the boys.
2) Interact with treasure chest but do NOT open it.
3) Pick ‘that price sounds suspicious’

Keep progressing and we will be back to the other party eventually.
Before you progress take the chests behind you, one of them has sword necklace which is pretty decent atk accessory.

Proceed to floor 4 of the tower.
On floor 4 as you go along the path – door south is locked for now.
Take the ladder in NE corner which leads you to a miniboss(lots of HP, weak to thunder) and eventually a chest with weapon for Mebius.
It’s thunder element weapon so I recommend to use Mebius now instead of Najezta.

Floor 5 has a chest with crown you can get along the way.
The guard near northern stairs will give you spirit soul stone if you talk to him.

Proceed to floor 6.
On floor 6 you will want to kill the miniboss behind middle gate since he drops a key.
You can attack him from behind.

With this key you can:
1) Open door to the west with a bit loot.
2) Open door on the west of floor 5 for tiara equip
3) Open door on the west of floor 4 for new Diana skill + ACHIEVEMENT
It’s a pretty good skill which does not cost ammo and has chance to burn. All the ‘HP degeneration’ skills are quite neat in this game since a lot work even on strong bosses.

Once done – go through remainiing door on floor 6 to get to 7.
There is healing point and you will face a boss.
Boss is not much stronger than when you faced him as Polca in end of chapter 3.
You might need a healer though, so I would swap in Naje instead of Mebius for this one.

Meanwhile Polca and Lily are having quality time together.
Lots of cutscenes happen and eventually you are returning to get Ange back into your party.

You end up in estate eventually.
Make your way back to castle for now.
Cutscenes commence and you are free to move around.

Inside the castle you can now access room behind the throne. It’s the iconic place from King Exit. But there is only chest with spirit soul stone there now.

You can also visit farm for a scene with Ange but it’s fully optional.

Once you go to world map – you will see a lot of content opened up.

Technically we can tackle most of it now, but I think it’s more reasonable to get the final character since she is only 2 big quest chains away not to waste her exp since she is among best party members.

Let us go to invade 3rd Empire
Your goal is in NW corner, but there are a few things to do first:
1) From where you start – go east across bridge and immediately go south for a hidden passage leading to stat boost item.
2) Before you actually enter castle in NW corner – visit a ladder down close by to SW from it. Barrel there has muddy ring.
There are some more things but everything else is minor – continue into the castle.

You will be stuck inside the castle with no equipment and have to recover it.
Make sure you swap back to usual party as it will be messed up.

Some rooms have ‘portraits’ which make a ladder show up to actually exit the room.
Try to interact with all objects, rooms are small and it might give you some items to use along the way.

Rats can be won against pretty easily with a single thunder AoE.
Despite game telling you to avoid ‘red eye’ enemies – they are actually easy to kill but only worth if they lead to some loot, I will mention such places.

Inside the first split take path east to some optional loot first. To get out of that room you need to find portrait.
Next up go north as that path is also optional room one.
If you have to fight red eye enemy: self buff by kalinka into saint attack(light element) should one shot the enemy.
Inside that room is a lot of equip and 2 spy enemies. Self buff kalinka and gladius attack + use the thunder spell. One kalinka hit + one thunder spell should usually be enough per enemy.
Sarasa has no MP regen so you might want to use her ‘urgent conversion’.
Before you leave this room – there is a HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT here. It’s in one of the cracked walls to the south.

Once you fully loot northern room – go into the only remaining western stairs. (Thanks rayy LMAO for the correction!)
This area is pretty big and has a lot of stuff you can loot in the shadows.
The most important by far is ‘diamond’ accessory in approximately NE corner. You will see an unlit ‘fireplace’ near darkness which is what you want to interact with.

The only way to go further is SE exit.
This leads to another split path. You will be able to reach north part without fighting soon so just head south.
You will end up in hall area. You are free to loot stuff here but your goal is 2 weapon cases to the north, one of which gives you quest dagger.

With this you can go near SE corner and pull a lever to make 2 staircases appear.
Southern one just leads you back from where you entered so go to north one to end up behind the red eyed enemies.

You end up in another small corridor.
The ‘dark path’ to the east has a hidden urn you can break with a stat boost item in it.
Other than that you can only continue further north.

You will drop down to waiting room with a bit loot, just exit south.
You end up in ‘battle stage’ area, here:
1) South has quest key you need. SW has a chest.
2) North an ACHIEVEMENT for getting hidden dark gun directly behind the middle of the northern ‘small wall’. You will have to face north and ‘interact’ to get it.
3) With key in hand you can open door NW to continue.
There is nothing hidden so just head west into next area once you open the door to continue.

This area has 2 chests behind red eyed enemy. Aside of that continue west.
Inside battle stage 2 area there are some chests you can grab including mithril staff which should be nice improve for Sarasa.

NW corner is a somewhat hard(not too hard if you gathered equipment) miniboss battle.
They have no weakness aside of light you can do via Kalinka… or if Sarasa reaches her ultimate – it will obliterate them.
Target the left/right ones first as they are squishier.
As you get rid of more of them it becomes 0 risk.

As you continue – to the south is where you recover your items/equipment.
Reequip, likely keeping a few pieces of new equipment.
There is also a PASSWORD chest here 7730 which is yet another ‘ultimate scroll’. Should be our 3rd if you follow the guide.

To exit – click portrait to reveal ladder.
Once you return – north is the path to actual BOSS.
It’s a pretty easy one. I mostly did chimeric seed by Polca and whichever biggest MP AoE you have on Sarasa to deal with small fry while buffed up Kalinka gladius’s the boss.

Chapter 4 – (2/6)

After that is another battle – technically you can win it with enough damage(likely NG+) but it changes nothing.
You only need to wait 5 turns to progress.

Once battle ends – start running south immediately, otherwise you will have to escape battles.

You will end up on world map.
No reason not to Invade Holy Land Pacius
You can technically walk around town and talk with companions but ultimately you need to head back to inn to progress.
The important loot is north from Kalinka – east/west paths above her lead to gold urns with stat boost items.

Once you do what you want – head back to inn.
Cutscenes happen and eventually you end up outside the temple in the night.
You have to enter from NE corner window.

Inside the temple – near the south of the area are 2 urns with stat boost items.
To the east is a chest with robe.
The way to continue is center.

You will be trapped with Lily chasing you.
The encounter is not hard but deadly to Ange if she is not lucky, a buffed Kalinka with gladius and Sarasa doing Shade skill will quickly win against Lily.
After that she disappears for a while.

To interact with some of the objects below you might need to kill Lily first(room needs to not have her to be exact)

Here is the least running walkthrough:
1) Feel free to grab spirit stones from door you came from but it’s pretty useless so you can skip this.
2) Your first goal is SE stairs – it’s a linear path with minor loot you can get along the way. Also a hidden path near where the ‘2 enemies’ walk(they are weak) leading to spirit soul stone(meh).
Ultimately reach dead end where you will find a key of Admonition in the shelf.
It’s one of those where you need to kill Lily before you can check it.
3) Use home ocarina whenever to get back to where you started, right now is a good moment.
Go counterclockwise along main corridor to grab 2 armors to the north along the way and reach NW corner.
4) Open the door in NW corner with the Admonition Key you got – inside the area you are in: start hugging east wall, while going up – there will be a hidden path leading east to a weapon case with ACHIEVEMENT. Diana gets heavy machine gun skill and Najezta gets machine gun.
As you continue – south room has some minor loot and NE door crystal(kill Lily to watch) is your goal to get next key: ‘Instruction’ Key.
5) Ocarina out and go to NE door in main corridor now.
This path has 4 doors:
SW is flamberge weapon
Top room is some books + sword necklace
Middle East is the one you need for model of instruction key.
SE room is some minor loot + a crystal you can get to with key above. Kill lily first.
This yields Eternity key.
6) Ocarina out and take the final SW stairs from main corridor.
Enter the last door by using the Eternity key.
This area has a SECRET ACHIEVEMENT. In the room with ‘graves’ there is a very long hidden path which starts in souther wall between 2nd/3rd grave.
Interact with skeleton there to get this achieve + vorpal dagger. Backtrack to main room now.
There is a lot of different equip you can grab in this area but nothing too important.
Your ultimate goal is key from NE corner and door for that key in SW corner with another ‘orb’.

This will start cutscenes ultimately leading you into a ‘limited time area’
It can’t be revisited and has one very good equipment piece, but it shouldn’t be a problem if you follow guide.
Since this equip piece is the only noteworthy thing in the whole place – I will simply leave a small walkthrough which includes it:
1) You start as a plant – this part is linear and lasts for a long while, just move on with the story until you see 10 minute timer.
Save game just in case. Timer is paused when opening menu.
Any battle is a waste of time, avoid them if possible.
2) Progress linearly until split – if you go north you can find 3 chests, 1 has crystal tiara.
Now go approx to SE corner, talk with Diana along the way and TEACH A FARMER NEAR THE GARDEN ABOUT FARMING.
This is important to get one of the best equip pieces later in the game.
3) Go SW from where you are to find Kalinka.
ABOVE KALINKA IS THE HIDDEN IMPORTANT WEAPON I MENTIONED – it’s inside the small wall where she is standing. You can enter it from the west side.
4) Now go to approx SW corner of the map to fin Sarasa.
5) From Sarasa head NW to find Ange in a dead end.
6) Go to NE corner approx now – south/west from it is a house you can enter with backdoor to reach Mebius.
7) From this house head east and then south/east between houses to find Najezta.
A mini cutscene should happen if you talked with everyone, that means you are done.

Now go south where Kalinka was and exit village.
There will be a scene where you bury ‘treasure’ – this is actually the way to ‘recover’ the items you got in this ‘memory’, it won’t happen ‘passively’.
I will remind you in the future when we can do so.

Once you play as ‘princess’ – simply claim the ‘shining dot’ and climb up the vines.
You will fight against ‘white phantom’ – you can’t win this one, so just lose.

You now fight as Polca against the dolls.
It’s semi scripted fight where you can’t really lose – you got a new ‘Apostle’ line of skills you can use to speed this up.

After a long set of scenes – you get one of the strongest characters to join you.
She starts level 1 and is the last character to join you, feed her some some books(don’t feed beyond your lowest character level, Mebius will be hardest to gain levels on and the one whom you want your books on if you want characters more or less equal leveled)
Her usual physical damager kit + bleed/poison but is now also paired with a debuff skill kit.
Basically she can now not only be a damage dealer when you want to burst but also a stat debuffer when you want to weaken your enemy as much as possible.
Her ultimate is a debuff to all stats for 3 turns.

You also got ‘Sage Glove’ accessory from previous boss fight – it’s a +20% atk one.
I would recommend turbo arm/sage glove on kalinka since she has higher atk value.
Instead use sword necklaces on Lily since she has lower one.

Teleport to castle to continue story
As you leave the castle – you will get an insight on how to change ‘Polca’.
Apostle form is damage oriented, generic form is heal oriented.
It can be done even inside battle and it doesn’t spend a turn.
Her Max HP and agility is higher in Apostle form. She also recovers 5% TP each turn in Apostle form.
Nothing else is changed.
HP/agility are honestly kinda pointless since you aren’t supposed to take damage on anyone but Ange. TP regen is neat but not too big a deal.
Being able to heal when needed and

From now on my overall party recommendation is:
Polca(Apostle)/Lily/Kalinka/Sarasa for max damage potential in random encounters.
Sarasa in particular is godly in random encounters.

Boss encounters are usually Polca or Naj/Ange/Lily/Kalinka

On harder bosses it’s simply not viable enough to not include Ange.
You can’t really beat potential damage of Kalinka/Lily with any other character.
This leaves only 1 variable slot… Healer/Buffer makes most sense. So Polca/Naj.
Naj with his crit buff and high chance slip ultimate is generally the better option IMO.
But Polca has her apostle form which is stronger individually.

There is A LOT of optional content we can tackle now since we have all characters finally.
This will take many hours if you want to do everything.

As usual – all optional content is not required and you are free to progress with main story if you really want to.

Optional content/H scenes/EX dungeons

Hot springs and Marketplace now have all possible interactions there, it’s only random dialogues though.

BEFORE we visit anywhere – go to farm and talk to old man near vegetable box. He will give you a luxury hotel ticket.
This allows you to stay in the 1 million hotel of Plana for free.
Feel free to visit it whenever, you will get some loot and a cutscene.

Chapter 4 – (3/6)

First step is pretty optional: Tortas city armor shop – this is simply to transform your unidentified rings if you want to.

Now onto Rooklook revisit:
Enter back into academy to trigger a cutscene.
You can interact with flying demon afterwards to save a teleportation spot.

Now go east – you will be shown where the EX dungeon is(punishment room)
Before we go there however – go visit NE big door to start a 3 minute timer for usual H scene kidnapping.
Use ocarina to get back to entrance now.

Now enter the punishment room/EX dungeon.
Don’t forget you can use Ghillie suit in the EX dungeons to reduce encounter rate.

First western classroom has a secret ‘cracked wall’ in SW corner with jeweled helm beyond it.

NE classroom of the dungeon has chest with equip piece and stat boost item.
To reach that classroom you need to go east from it’s ‘blocked entrance’ inside the wall and along the hidden path.

Classroom below the NE one has Tiara in the chest.

Classroom south from previous has a hidden passage to the west towards the golden urn.

Go even further south into next area for a stat boost item + punishment room key.

Now backtrack all the way back to entrance and go to SW corner.
BEFORE you enter the area with the boss – the classroom to the west before it has a hard to see urn with stat boost item. The urn is behind the pillar directly south of entrance to classroom.
Now go to next area to start Boss..
It’s very easy by now, just add Ange to tank. Dark/human weakness.
The staff in the chest is more powerful than secret staff but has no mana regen.

Use ocarina to get out.

Next let us visit Maximus library
Here we only want to see the kidnapping scene for Najezta, there is nothing else.

To do that – make your way all the way south to entrance of the prison.
To the west of the prison is a flying demon you can use to open teleportation place by the way.
Enter prison, wait 3 minutes, use ocarina and go visit the demon I mentioned to get out.

Onto Mark 6
Keep heading all the way east for an event to happen.

Once cutscene is over – head south to get into EX dungeon.

Stuff is weak to thunder here.

Go through first 3 teleportations to reach a disable for ‘lasers’.
Go 2 teleports back and now you can continue west.

There is a north/south teleport choice now.
Go north first since it’s dead end with some loot including stat boost.

Keep going linearly now.
Once you reach the green door – you are about to face Boss.
They are 5 human enemies, pretty weak by now. Only human is their weakness.

Feel free to talk with them afterwards, make sure to talk to yellow at least for a key.

This is it for this dungeon, but there is more to Mark 6.

Use ocarina to get out of the ex dungeon, this time continue east and then south to reach storage room and then west into the room with teleports.

Instead of wasting 3 minutes this time – head to the westernmost teleport. After that go into the next one..
Now go into the closest/eastern one. This will lead you into small room with an NPC who will give you Dragon Penis 5/7.

You should have them all now. Lily/Polca don’t have them.

After you get teleported via H scene – go to eastern green door to reach flying demon teleportation point unlock.

Western door has a boss we don’t want to face yet. It’s not as hard as ultra beast and you might be able to handle it, but I will leave it for later for it not to be too challenging for some people.

Now that we have all characters and all kidnapping scenes done it’s good time to enter Doremi Fckingdom and wrap up all H scenes there.
You can also buy some good stuff, I in particular recommend the 2.5k currency whip for random encounters.
Red Straw rope is a very solid +atk accessory too, direct improvement to sword necklace, albeit attack is the same.

To unlock all scenes in doremi all you have to do is:
1) Visit the virgin place to the north – it has a total of 5 unique scenes.
2) Visit each girl ‘gacha’. By now each girl is non virgin so you can have 6 gachas in total each.

If after saving the game you got all scenes between the first doremi visit and ‘classroom SSR’ of Lily then you are fully done with doremi(minus potential item purchases)
But you likely already got all secret weapons and all but 1 password chests are opened(we will visit last one soon) so you don’t need any of the ‘hints’.
I also never assume you ‘weaken’ special monsters.

Time to revisit Orphe land now.
Go north into next area.
In this area go to SE corner for an NPC who gives you dragon penis 6/7.
Go north from this NPC into Orphe City.
Talk with flyng demon to unlock teleportation.

Now go inside the watchtower directly north to end up in 1F
Go to NE stairs to reach 2F.
Now go east and then south between the cannons to reach into an area outside the castle.
It has an urn which gives you an ACHIEVEMENT.
That’s it here, use ocarina and get out.

This time head to Kumin
First visit the locked NW house – this gives ACHIEVEMENT and dragon penis 7/7 – we will be able to use them soon.
The house just east nearby has some loot.

From the house head east to reach the central square for the final 4th event with Bohelos monument.

Now go SE into the ‘education center’.
Reach the very end of it for an urn with stat boost item. Use Ocarina to get out.

Now go SW into radiant tower dungeon.
Head straight north inside it – remember the chest in vines?

Well, it’s that chest you once buried in the memory of Lily’s past. You can open it now to get all items you got back then.
Crystal tiara is NOT boosting dark damage by the way, it’s increasing damage you TAKE from it by 50%. And reducing damage you take from crystal by 20%.
Heaven’s Claws can be equipped on Kalinka making her a basic attack beast with +2 basic attacks. Should wipe out most random enemies.
If that was not enough – it’s light+dark element which means if EITHER is a weakness then you will deal increased damage. You only use your ‘best’ element for damage purposes.

You can technically reach top of tower to open teleportation point but it’s useless since we got everything in tower already.

Let us revisit the Holy Land Pacius now.
A cutscene will happen.
Go inside the inn and in the room there will be final 4th ‘password’ chest – 8511

Now go towards church but stop when you see a painter NPC with a dialogue bubble.
He will paint Lily/Polca for 100k(but money won’t actually be taken) which is a CG. It’s a non H CG/event and is the very last in gallery.

This is all we will do in this city. We don’t go for EX dungeon because it removes ‘bad end mode’ entirely from the game.
Even if we do bad mode now – there is still 1 scene we will miss as it’s limited to a bit later into the story.

There is a flying demon near the ‘broken window’ of the church if you want to travel a bit less next time we visit for EX dungeon.

TIme to go to Kingdom of the Apes
After cutscenes – talk to the guy in the hut.

He will send us to Doremi. Go there and into the costume shop(it’s near item shop/building east of it)
This is why we needed 7 dragon penises. If you are lacking some – you probably missed one from the guide. But you can always go hunt them from ‘ultra beast’ land, there are smaller dragons there which you should be able to take down by now easily who drop the penises.
IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HOWEVER – SELL THE DRAGON PENISES AND BUY THIS FOR 70k COINS INSTEAD… IT’S SUPER LONG GACHA GRIND AND IMO NOT WORTH IT BUT GIVES YOU AN UNIQUE PHOTO ITEM IF YOU DO IT THIS WAY.
If you want to skip the annoying gacha repeat hell but still get it and don’t mind cheating a bit then use the following website to edit your save file and add enough coins:
https://www.saveeditonline.com/
Once you upload your save file – click file unpack and ctrl+f number of coins you currently have to find the value which you need to edit into 70000 – it was item number 50 for me.
Save files are located in game folder > www > save

Chapter 4 – (4/6)

With medicine in hand go back to the hut.
You won’t be able to use Mebius but not like we need him.
And don’t worry – Lily despite being naked will still have equipment just fine like everyone else.
You can earn MASSIVE amount of exp here very easily.
Remove Ghillie suit as it’s arguably best exp grind place in the game anyway.

NW corner of the map has a stat boost item inside urn.
Go south from it to reach a chest with jeweled helm.
Memorize this place since if you go west from here – you will reach next area/hot springs/boss.

Now head south from chest to reach the 2 golden urns with stat boost items.
Head back to chest.
If you go east now – there are 2 path south/north. South leads to a hut which is closed for now.
If you continue north and then SE you will reach a hut where you can heal up. Go further south for a 2handed weapon you already had.

That’s all there is in this area of Ape dungeon. Go back to chest and this time go west to continue into hot springs area.
It’s NOT instantly boss.
At first SW corner has an urn with stat boost and NE(not fully N however) has urn with spirit soul stone.

Boss is pretty weak – fire/human is the weakness.
He can also get bleeding/poison.

Boss drops a helm we want to equip on Ange. It does not have HP regen but has massively better defensive stats and element resists.. and you already have a bit HP regen from shield anyway.

Once you defeat boss – go NE first to open chest and get ACHIEVEMENT.
Now go back talk with the monkey king and enter hot spring for a CG.
This also gives the same TP regen effect as your estate hot spring.

You can also rechallenge the king for no exp but a giga book(20k exp) + tera book(66666 exp) + spirit stone instead
Kinda decent if only one of your allies is far behind others…
This becomes important since you are grinding this place WITHOUT the Mebius which means he is not getting any exp.
You can eventually kill the king pretty fast and catch up on his levels separately via books.

That’s all that this area has to offer for now.
You can use the monkeys to travel between hot springs and entrance quite easily.
I would probably stay and grind until your lowest character lvl is ~60.

Once you visit the world map – you will get one more achievement for conquering apes.
You can reenter their land naked any time by the way.

With that we are done with almost everything available.

The only thing that remains is Bad End Mode
Visit Shingana if you don’t want to bother with losing a fight. The surrender room is NW from the entrance if you forgot.

I will explain how to get all scenes for bad end mode:
1) One unique scene becomes instantly unlocked because you visited the thing with enough allies unlocked.
2) There are 3 unique scenes in the area before the actual ‘dungeon’ by talking to some NPCs there, simply run around, those are hard to miss.
It has scenes for Ange, Kalinka and Najezta
3) Write the name of each prisoner(simply go one by one to get them all/not mix em up) and go die via guarding against the very first monster.
It’s a long and annoying process.
4) Fully complete the bad mode once and grab all red sphere CGs.
Don’t talk with anyone before this run otherwise it can mess with the order of your girls.
You ideally want lily/polca in your ‘starting team’.
5) Final scene is NOT achievable yet – for that one you will need to ‘write a random number’ instead of adding any of the names. This can be done a bit later into the story, I will mention when.

To actually beat 20 floors – use the english bad end mode guide on steam. It’s accurate and has all you need to know.

Once you are done with the bad end mode – revisit the Bohelos Estate and go to marketplace and interact with doll to claim reward for full clear from the bad end mode completion.
You will first read the letter and then go behind the bear to grab a ring.
It is ‘Savior’s Ring’ accessory – it has okay’ish atk/matk and gives TP charge rate x1.2

This concludes the optional content and with this you should only be missing one optional scene inside the bad end mode we will soon get.

Time to go to 3rd Empire
Before you go anywhere – head East into another area.

Remember how we spoke with farmer in the memory? This is the result of our efforts.
Grab the chest to get one of most powerful accessories in the game – Onion cape which gives +1 basic attack.

I recommend to change top tier accessories this way:
Kalinka – turbo arm + sage glove
Lily – equip best whip with her + onion cape + red straw rope
Ange – lapis lazuli + battle princes necklace

Onion cape with whip attacks is very powerful for random encounter clear speed.
If you equip 2nd best whip on Polca and use some AoE with Sarasa(I recommend Hail for fast animation) – it’s likely that no random encounter will survive a turn.
Kalinka covers any strong ‘single’ enemies with her heaven claw.

Regardless – let us head into the castle now.
Use boat to enter waterway now.

In this dungeon everything is weak to thunder.
If you encounter lonely ‘slime’ – this will lead into a miniboss fight, so use the turn to buff up with units who can do some buff.
Not sure if this miniboss gives anything good, didn’t manage to make him drop anything interesting, so I doubt it.

Your only real goal is going all the way north to the boss.
But there are a few things you can do:
1) ACHIEVEMENT you can get for killing 6 enemy groups and returning to guard not far from entrance.
2) SE corner has an equip piece.
3) If you go to NW corner and head south – you can activate teleporter.
The path with 2 teleporters leads south into a Diamond you can grab. This allows you to have 2 diamonds on Sarasa, kinda neat.
The very center of the map has room with a healing spot and dark bow.

Finally go north to face the boss. It’s not strong if you use simply use Ange.
In the boss fight – everyone is human.
Dolls are weak to dark, everyone else is weak to light.
If you kill one doll – both will die and 4 soldiers will appear.

Once boss is dead – cutscenes happen and you are back in estate.

There is A LOT of unique dialogue inside the estate, even hot spring dialogue is unique.
There is also a bit more outside estate and with remnants in the castle.

This is also THE LAST CHANCE TO DO ANY OPTIONAL CONTENT YOU HAVE LEFT.
And this is the moment when we can get final bad end mode scene.

As usual – feel free to skip optional content if you want to.

Final Optional Content Rush

Let us start with Shingana and do the final Bad End Scene first.

Simply go inside the dungeon as usual but notice you have option ‘Write Random Number’ – use this option and lose against the first enemy as usual.
Now you should have all the optional scenes done.

This also means we can now ‘remove the bad end mode’ safely.
Go into Holy Land Pacius Temple
Talk to the Sage outside the temple first.
After that find him inside the temple in NE corner.

Go inside the dungeon via secret path.
This dungeon will function approximately same as with Lily chasing you.. but with a monster instead of her this time.
I will give a step by step to minimize time waste:
1) Go into west door and go NW corner to get instruction key.
2) Get out and take the east stairs now.
3) The SE stairs are optional BUT lead you to a stat boost item in the golden urn.
4) In the main corridor you need NE door.
You will be in instruction room now.
SW door has a key you need.
SE door has another key you can get with the key above.
5) Back to main corridor and into NW door this time.
6) Admonishment area.
While your goal here is simply the room in the end to the north.
There is OPTIONAL thing you can do:
Go into the room south of the one you need.
It should have 2 ‘beds’, it’s hard to notice but the lower bed pillow has a key.
To use this key go back to where we get the very first key(eternity) and go to SW room there.
There are 2 golden urns with one having a stat boost item.
7) Make your way back to Admonishment area, touch the statue.
Go down the stairs.

Chapter 4 – (5/6)

You will enter floor 3F of bad end mode, but this time you can actually fight and your goal is 1F instead of 21F.
Everything dies to 1 hit here so shouldn’t be a problem.
Once you reach 1F – you will see a ‘giant beast’ in SE corner. This is not actually boss, but somewhat miniboss tier.
You will then have another even easier fight as you exit the dungeon.
You can technically talk with and kill all prison wardens but this does nothing.

In the room with the Emperor statue the Boss fight will automatically start.
You might recognize it if you got to 21F of bad end before.
It’s not particularly strong if you use Ange to tank.

The sword you get from this boss is +15% crit/evasion and +1 basic attack.
A pretty good weapon for boss fights with Lily.
With onion cloak that’s already 3 basic attacks. You can add pleasure to improve her atk further and give her 2 more basic attacks.
Along with increased crit chance – this yields approx same damage as kalinka if used as purely basic atk’er.
Unless kalinka hits light/dark weakness.

Either way – we are done with all EX dungeons in the game now.

Teleport to Mark 6 Loading Dock
We are going to be facing purely boss encounters now, very hard ones at that, so swap to your boss party.

I personally use Ange/Lily/Kalinka/Najezta with following gear:
Ange – white silver lace spear, kraken shield, ape crown, bikini armor, lapis lazuli, battle princess neck
She pretty much focuses evasion.

Kalinka – heaven claw, dragon buckler, apostle horn(mebius’s helm), body suit, sage’s glove, turbo arm

Lily – Crystal Abyss sword, Dragon buckler, Mushroom Head, Retro robe, Red Straw Rope(doremi), onion cape

Lily/kalinka pretty much glass cannon focus atk/crit values.

Najezta – yagrush sword(15% TP regen two handed), all might hat(can remove conditions form Anje in case of ♥♥♥♥), super sexy underwear, savior’s ring, ring of fortune.

Najezta pretty much stacks TP regen and luck(his ultimate should be nearly 100% chance to slip any boss this way, essentially giving you a free turn)

Strategy:
Lily/kalinka upkeep pleasure/mega buster and basic attack.

Lily also does her ulti to upkeep debuff on enemy. I like to do it after Pleasure expires.

Najezta upkeeps his ‘imperial tactics’ and ‘fish scale formation’ and does healing if required and his ultimate if TP allows.
Fish scale in particular is MASSIVE crit chance increase.

Ange with this equip can easily upkeep wind god shield(and upkeep double def/mdef buff) and the 10% evasion for no TP cost.
This means 45% from equip and 30% from skills for a total of 75% evasion at all times.
I think there is either some innate evasion or Naj all stat boosts it a bit too, since from my experience dodge chance is more like ~85%.

You have no ‘revival’ on Najezta so if someone dies you have to use enhanced reviver.

Either way – from Mark 6 Loading dock head to SW teleporter.
Now go inside the western green door.

You will reach your first hard boss. Since we tackle it first it’s also easiest.
The strategy ignores any possible weakness the enemy might have.
Your main source of damage will be critical hits which will deal like x3-4 damage compared to normal hit.
Boss has ~200k HP.

Basically unless you get unlucky you should be fine.
It however can do a triple turn of full party AoE, ~2-3 hits of which will likely kill Ange… so a bit RNG if it happens.
It usually happens some time after dialogue about ‘sturdy armor’.
I personally slipped him and outbursted.

Reward is photon gun, approx on par with goddess whip but for Naj/Diana instead of lily/polca.

Next boss is inside Third Empire
You need to go back into waterway – go to NW corner to find an NPC being afraid of something.
Go south from him to find a boat.
Interacting with it leads to a boss fight.

This boss has 350k HP but easily gets poison and bleeding which cause MASSIVE damage to it.
Prioritize poison/bleed over anything else with Lily.

The reward is a high attack sword(but does nothing else so quite meh)
There are also 2 Tera books in the bookshelf.

The final optional boss is the Ultra Beast
This one has a dedicated area if you forgot.
You are free to explore.and your usual boss kill build should handle the small dragons pretty quickly there.
I simply did no TP tanking with Ange, basic attacks with Lily/Kalinka and Crit buff spam with Naj.. mostly just so I could hold Z.
The boss itself starts immediately when you transition into next area in the NW approx.

The ultra beast itself is…
Well… it’s 800k HP first and foremost.
It’s the strongest boss that is available on first playthrough.
BUT bleed/poison works and deals 80k per turn. So lily upkeeps that as priority and basic attack/debuffs him via ultimate as second priority.

Be aware that with each time you inflict condition the chance of triggering it again seems to lower. 2 poison triggers was my limit for example, after that 5 turns of trying it did nothing so I just swapped into bleed.
Due to this – you might want to equip fortune rings on lily rather than her usual stuff.

Also you want to change weapon on Lily to super sludge dagger.
The reason is that boss is super resistant to crystal and the Abyss sword will deal 0 damage essentially.
Sludge dagger has chance of poison at least while still having +1 attack for TP.

For Naj – high priority becomes casting his ultimate whenever possible just so you keep minimizing chance of getting wiped.

Whatever extra damage you can deal outside of poison is low priority.

This one is honestly RNG test. You can equip brother or mother accessory instead of Lapis Lazuli on Ange here to mitigate an RNG failure.
The levels don’t really help much, it’s all about hoping boss doesn’t get too lucky with his hits. Average luck should get you through just fine. With buffed Ange/Debuffed boss she can take 2 hits before dying on 3rd. Mother/brother pendant allow you to survive 3rd hit too.
I personally managed this with levels 64(Naj)-73(Kalinka).

If you feel behind in levels – go grind some Apes – the level grind is quite fast there, you should be 1 turn killing the whole party before they can do anything in the random encounter setup.

Reward is Ultra Claws…
It’s only +1 attack count and no element BUT has a bit more ATK value and low chance to slip/faint the enemy.

I would generally keep heaven’s claw but it’s useful in some situations.

Assuming you have been following the guide – you should have ALL achievements up to Secret Hot Spring sword completed.
As for scenes you should be missing 7 after ‘Blossom’ and 2 after ‘relaxation’.

If everything matches – good job, the only thing left is to finish the main story for now.

Time to invade Second Empire
Keep going until you are inside the castle and have seen the cutscene there.

Enemies in this dungeon are usually solo or duo – I recommend giving abyss sword to Lily instead of whip.
Kalinka and Lily should each kill one this way.

Once inside the castle you will see 2 stairs – both lead into kitchen which is dead end but has a cutscene.
Keep going forward until emperor statue which has chest nearby.

Doors to the north of the statue both lead to same dead end with stat boosts in it.

Chapter 4 – (6/6)

The stairs lead to different places so do the following:
1) Take west stairs.
Instantly head north until the end and east through the wall for a secret path leading to cursed sword.
Backtrack and grab chest nearby.
West room has a bit ammo but nothing else.
Go back to main hall.
2) Take east stairs this time and go east into the basement.
This is technically optional, only garbage loot here.
3) Go back to previous split and go north this time.
You end up in a split of 2 paths: north/south.
Go north first and grab dresses among which is princess dress – best offensive chest piece in the game with +15% crit.
4) Now go all the way south to end up in an area connecting the east/west.
There are 2 major chests here 1 of which has Flange – an accessory which is better than sword necklace for flat atk.
There are also less important chests to the sides of the area.
5) Continue through west door and head north to get into library.
6) Now exit libray and go out through the west path. Keep going until you reach big hall.
2 statues there have imperial capes near them.
Technically the boss is north through main door but we can still explore.
7) Head east into next area and go north here for a miniboss.
Kalinka Heaven Claw and Lily Abyss sword will both hit weakness so it will get brutalized very badly.
Chest has ‘imperial key’.
To the south are some barrels you can break and some are hidden below wall too but all are random consumables.
8) Go back into main hall and open southern door there.
Grab armor/weapons on stands and press lever. Go down the stairs and use another lever.
This is a shortcut to place with kitchen.
9) Climb back up once and now go a bit north and open the east/west gates in the middle to reach SW part of the area with ‘Grand Armor’ on the stand that you can grab.
10) Now go back and climb all the way back up to where boss is supposed to be in main hall.

Quick swap into boss party since you are about to face one.
Unless you have been skipping most of the optional content – all the upcoming bosses shouldn’t be a problem as they pale in comparison to what you already faced.
But even without it – most of the key gear was part of main story so shouldn’t be big trouble too.

The first fight you simply beat.
Second fight ends up as scripted defeat after a few turns.
Doesn’t matter that you already wiped the floor with one ultra beast, I guess.

Chapter 4.5

Extra chapter happens in between chapter 4 and 5.
Covering the mini story about Diana.

Technically your goal is Tortas and there is nothing to explore elsewhere BUT you can find your companions for some dialogue if you really want to, totally optional:
1) Mebius in bohelos castle
2) Ange in Shingana old fort.
3) Sasara in front of Rooklook entrance.
4) Lily in her cell in Tortas city
5) Ultra Actress at Doremi entrance

Once you decide to continue story go to Tortas City inn(closest building when you teleport)

Visit Plana city now.
Go to inn and through the cutscenes until you finally need to enter luxury hotel.
The window you need to enter through is on the 2nd floor of the inn you are in.
The fights should be handled by Kalinka. She should be killing one enemy per turn, just hold Z.

On floor 3 room with captives is a hard to miss urn with stat boost.

Continue until floor 6.
Floor 6 has somewhat hard to find room to the north which has stat boost.
Continue to floor 7 after that.
Floor 7 is a pushover boss fight.

Keep going in the story now until you reach sewers.
In sewers there is nothing interesting.
Run away if you see solo slime.
Other groups are easy/fine as long as you equip something remotely decent.

Keep going until you reach seemingly dead end in NW corner.
East of it is a ‘wall’ you can go through to see a strong enemy you likely can’t defeat solo. Memorize this area – we will be returning here in chapter 5.

You don’t need to go there however – what you need is a hard to see ladder going up in this ‘dead end’.
In new area – north is dead end so go south.
There is nothing interesting for a long while so keep going with the story.

Eventually Kudan joins you.
Visit 3rd Empire with him.
Inside 3rd empire you need alley approx in the middle of the area for a cutscene to start.
Proceed into Devil’s Factory through revealed exit.
Kudan should carry you even if you are weak.

In 1st area the only interesting loot is in NE corner – a gold urn with stat boost.
In the 2nd area there is another hard to miss urn not far from start of area – north from the ‘loads of shelves’ place.

In 3rd area kudan will leave you and in 4th you will finally fight the boss so prepare your diana with at least some gear.
The boss shouldn’t be too hard unless you are very underleveled. Simple first aid spam is enough to sustain you for a few turns.
As fight goes on you will eventually get the ultimate move for Diana which makes the remaining fight pretty much guaranteed win.

Scenes happen, eventually you control Polca again.
Simply keep going where the game tells you to, there are no secrets.
Eventually chapter will end.

Chapter 5

You have access to 5 allies – Polca, Ange, Kalinka, Sarasa and Lily.

North from you is church with a healing, south is minor consumables.

For main progress you need to go all the way north.
But first go into east building. there are shield stands with mithril/force shields.
There is also miniboss on top of the building and a chest with crystal armor behind it.

You will get blocked by a barrier so visit the west watchtower.
It also has 2 shield stands.
Press the lever to remove barrier.

Before entering castle – west/east from it are chests. West one has an evasion necklace.

Inside the castle – there is nothing to do until you reach the throne room so just keep heading north.
Once you can move after cutscenes in throne room – grab 2 red chests nearby for 2 crystal helmets.

East wall from the throne has a SECRET passage you can walk through.
To the south are 2 chests. Between them is a cracked wall which reveals 3rd chest and yields ACHIEVEMENT.
Also yields incredibly good defensive armor piece – I would say it’s probably worth replacing the bikini armor for since it’s only 5% evasion.

As you leave the throne room – Mebius will split from your party.
Talk to him to change his equipment. I recommend equipping him with gear you grabbed along the way – the crystal stuff gives massive defense and lacking evasion doesn’t really matter as you wouldn’t really dodge with Mebius anyway.
For accessory slots – x2 empire cloaks are good enough. This will likely bring your defenses to ~500+.
I also recommend feeding him books.

Your main party goes into the western hall.
1st room there has a crystal armor.
2nd has healing point.
All other doors aside of last one are locked. Last one gives spirit soul stone.

Once inside next area – your main goal is north BUT go into sewers first to the east.
You will be inside the place I told you to remember.
East wall from you has a secret path forward.
Fight the ‘strong enemy’ you previously skipped.
It’s a boss and it’s main trick is that it will get stronger if you slay slimes around it. So simply ignore those and focus on single target attacking the boss.
Beating it yields ACHIEVEMENT and 2 stat boosts behind it.

Head back and into the world tree now.
Inside first area simply head south.
2nd area has a golden urn with stat boost.
Enter cave/3rd area.

3rd area has a secret place with ACHIEVEMENT.
Once you reach northernmost point of it – the wall in the middle should lead north into a secret room.
This also yields an armor similar to dark armor from other achievement. The only difference is it’s 50% light damage decrease instead of dark.
It’s useless for now but for hardest optional fights it will be a must for Ange.

Continue into 4th area. It has golden urn with stat boost at start.
4th area eventually leads back into 3rd area centre which leads into 5th area.

Inside 5th area go west first.
Golden urn with stat boost along the way.
Go inside the cave – there will be another stat boost along the way and an assault drone chest at the end.
Assault drone is THE best accessory.
It’s kinda an onion cape with +40 atk on top of it.
I recommend lily using assault drone/turbo arm and kalinka using sage glove/onion cape.

Backtrack all the way to where you entered 5th area. Go down this time.
Head east across the bridge – first climb the vine south to get a stat boost urn.
Climb the vine back up and proceed further east and north through the darkness to get Mana Armor – not too great.

Backtrack to the road split. West is dead end with nothing so only south remains.
Nothing noteworthy until you reach the next road split which has a golden urn with stat boost nearby.
This is actually not a road split however – the only way to go on is west.

As you climb the ladder up to the north you might notice a chest nearby.
The main path further is leading south BUT there is a slightly hidden ‘bridge’ to the west – use it first.
It’s a narrow road leading to ‘powerful enemy’.
It’s a boss which grants ACHIEVEMENT and a superb accessory for Sarasa which allows you to use a better staff on her due to MP regen. It also gives her holy magic she otherwise doesn’t have.
Boss is not particularly strong but it does have one move which will guarantee kill 1 target unless you evade it.
Boss also has 2 stat urns behind it.

There are no more secrets – it’s a straight road to game finale from now on consisting of only bosses/scenes.

Go into final area to the south. There is a healing point you can use which is where boss fights start.
Make sure you set your party correctly as you won’t have chance to swap it.
Your FIRST SLOT however will be replaced with Polca unless you have her. So you kinda are forced to use her instead of Naj… not a big deal.

You start with a Mebius fighting Kudan. Change equipment if you didn’t yet.
Kudan is pretty strong.
Upkeep atk/matk debuffs from Monsoon on him. Reapply if he does his offensive buff which cancels the debuff.
Aside of that – use consumables to not die and you will be fine.
Eventually you will enter second phase which should be pretty easy.

Next boss is with main party.
It has 7 phases but it should have weakness to basic attacks from both Lily and Kalinka…
Which makes it at most like 1-2 turns per phase and super easy.

After this are some cutscenes and eventually 3 more fights.
First is super easy.
Lily will join in 2nd fight and carry it for you.
3rd is somewhat challenging but nothing problematic – use carnivorous/ultimate when HP allows and full heal when needed.
Game finishes after that but there is still unique content in NG+.

New Game+ – (1/2)

NG+ starts with allowing you to equip your characters. Keep in mind that lily appearing late means her gear will take until closer to the end of game to access.
Diana is kinda neat to have gear on as this means she will start with it.
I recommend giving Polca both +basic attack accessories and equipping whip with her.

Skip prologue skips the Geo Louise part of the game.
This also means you lose a potential 2nd divine dragon hair hat but it’s IMO useless in this game.
Unless you miss some prologue achievement – don’t bother with it.

If you are following the guide – the only achievements you miss now are the 2nd playthrough ones.

Before we continue – let me explain what is new:
1) You can basically get all items 2nd time(aside of mebius helmet sadly, he will stick with what you select for his equipment no matter what)… but most stuff is not worth.
Oh, the doremi shop stuff is only purchasable once as well, but it’s not too big a deal.
2) All content you previously missed can be redone if you want to as well.
3) Doremi ‘cloth’ shop is now accessable allowing you to purchase looks for your characters.
4) New optional fights which are also the hardest in the game become available, I will summarize them further below.
Most of which are what you need for the final set of achievements.

My recommendations for 2nd playthrough:
1) Use ctrl+f and search for ‘stat boost’ to see if there is any along the way of main quest, might as well grab them if possible.
2) The only worthy gear copies are IMO:
Sage Glove(can’t miss it), Battle princess necklace(defeat emperor when it’s solo Polca vs Emperor in southern continent), Heaven’s Claw(memory near Kalinka), Onion Cape(memory talk to farmer), Princess Dress(2nd empire), Assault Drone,
Dark/light armors are kinda okay’ish too.
TECHNICALLY you might want 3rd dragon buckler to maximize attack as that’s the only shield with atk.
Polca technically becomes a viable basic attacker. I still think Naj buffs are more useful though.
3) Do not bother with EX dungeons – waste of time mostly.
4) Skip dialogues fast by holding ctrl.
5) Ape land is still best grind place to reach 99
Don’t grind before you get Lily obviously.

It shouldn’t take longer than ~5-10 hours to rush only main content.

Tackling all unique NG+ content/achievements in difficulty+access order:
1) Doremi Outfits – available the earliest.
Each character outfit is 500 per and there are 3 types – bad end, doremi and naked.
So a total of 3500*3 = 10500 to get them all.
There are also unlock requirements but progress requirements are ‘carried over’ – so you should have them all by default if you did optional stuff before.

2) Once you have diana – go to Bohelos market and interact with weapon case which allows you to purchase final skill for her – Javelin missiles.
It costs 200k to buy it and 100k per 1 ammo.
Gives ACHIEVEMENT.

3) A chest during 3rd empire first visit. After you reach battle stage 1 – proceed to next area. There will be 2 chests blocked by ‘red eye’ monster and a new wooden chest which has Polca blindfolded outfit.

4) Remember the locked house in the Ape area that I mentioned before? It’s now open and leads to a talk with developer about different stuff, mostly game development + ACHIEVEMENT.

BEFORE you tackle everything below – clear everything you want up to right before 2nd empire attack/last free time period
The fights below are among hardest fights in the game.

I personally didn’t bother to grind all the way until 99.
My main party was ~lvl 90 with the except of Naj who was lvl 81(but his level does not matter as much)

5) We will start with the easy fight – go to Plana.
If you head into colosseum – a BOSS battle with start against Tenka Taihei(character from devs very first RPG)
Poison/Bleed do 12k damage per turn each so not really worth applying.
He only has ~120k HP and is only weak to ‘human’.

He drops ‘Tenka Cloth’ – a 2 handed glove weapon for Kalinka with +5 basic attacks.
It’s attack is exactly same as if you were to equip Heaven claw + Dragon buckler(a small attack boost)
Sadly it doesn’t have any element which means it’s not really a big damage increase BUT it allows you to use x2 Sage Glove to reach ~650-700 attack value while still having 6 basic attacks. So you do COMPARABLE damage without it having to be weakness.

6) The final set of battles happens in Bohelos Estate – the room opposite of hot spring is now open.
You can quit at any time – so don’t worry you won’t be ‘stuck’.

It’s a good place to level up as well – normal enemies here give ~15k exp and Polca with heaven Claw, Lily with Crystal Abyss sword and Kalinka with Tenka weapon will each kill one enemy before they move.
Ironically Mebius can’t be used/leveled here either however… so not great if you want ‘everyone’ to level 99.

MAKE SURE ANGE USES LIGHT ELEMENT ARMOR – a lot of enemies and bosses do it here.

Each ‘restoration’ point is a new ‘teleportation’ place so make sure to interact with them once at least.

There are no important ‘secrets’ in this dungeon.

First boss will happen shortly after 2nd restoration node.

It’s Samidare +2 fodder enemies. She can pack quite a damage but ultimately as solo opponent shouldn’t pose a trouble.
She has 340k HP and takes 34k from poison/bleed. Worth applying once but not worth more than once since chance decreases too sharply and even 1st application is not high chance.
My lvl 94 Kalinka with Mega Buster on her and crit dealt ~10k damage per attack for a total of up to 60k per turn if all crit.. and crit chance is very high with princess dress + Naj crit buff.

She drops gold buckler – 15% evasion shield with good stats but no HP regen. Still worth IMO.

Next boss fight is in the Throne Room.
You will fight against a core party of 4 bosses from King exit.
Geo Louise has 450k HP, Knight Arbent has 350k HP, Monk Valu has 320k HP, Magician has 190k HP.

Mage has lowest HP so good target.
Monk’s main annoyance is buffing so take him down 2nd.
Geo Louise has a ‘Do or Die’ so it’s best to leave her for last and don’t touch her too much early on.

Naj can slip everyone with very high chance. And nothing really has big damage here.
Chance of bleed/poison is super low here so don’t bother.

Reward is a dark element 2 handed weapon with MASSIVE atk value… also a few stat boost items.
Sadly weapon is kinda useless. Kinda okay to speed up Kudan fight with Mebius.. but that’s it.

The final and hardest battle however is further north.

It’s a boss battle against stronger Geo Louise + 2 souls.
Each can move twice.
Geo Louise has 500k HP, Healing soul has 250k HP and Strike soul has 450k HP.

Geo Louise has a skill which can BYPASS evasion and agro of Ange, not even guarantee evasion works against it.

Despite healing soul having low HP – it hardly does anything. Ironically best strategy is to rush kill Geo Louise.

MAKE SURE NAJ HAS BROTHER OR MOTHER PENDANT.
Due to the loads of evasion penetrations – I recommend Ange also using 1 ‘brother or mother’ necklace.

Geo Louise has ‘ultimate’ – there will be an attack dealing ~15k damage to everyone bypassing protection of Ange. It can be dodged but the only reliable way to survive is via 1 HP survive accessories.
Your best way to avoid this is slipping enemies as often as possible with Naj while maintaining heavily evade buffed Ange who ulti whenever she can unless Naj is ulti’ing

So.. yeah.. best strategy is pretty much poisoning geo louise and then attacking her.
As long as you have light armor on Ange – she won’t take much from light magic.

You will very likely have to use a few spirit soul stones.

It all comes down to how lucky you get with taking down Geo Louise basically… it can be super easy or super hard depending on how RNG decides it.

Naj has high chance of disabling the enemy for a turn with his ultimate.

New Game+ – (2/2)

Basically keep in mind that Naj and Ange ulti are both essentially 1 turn when your chance to wipe out is very low.
Don’t bother with poison more than twice… Even more than once is pretty low chance.

Don’t be afraid to use spirit soul stone just to be safe. Better use it than get wiped out randomly.

Once Geo Louise is dead – your chance to lose is nearly 0 as long as you don’t ‘relax’.
Strike soul with very low chance can do 2 very strong AoE skills in a row which is basically the only potential danger. Take it down and you have essentially won.

Your reward is a one handed sword with 20% TP regen and dark/light element. Kinda decent for Naj.
There is also a chest with unique stat boost consumable which is… simply a combination of all non luck/agi stat boost items.

6) As you progress main quest and are in the Second Empire – there is unique costume in second empire – Bride dress for Polca.
It’s in the same room as Princess Dress.

7) With the above completed you have technically done HARDEST challenge.
But there is still 1 achievement which requires you to progress main quest until the very last boss.

Once you are at the last ‘healing point’ right before the boss – you will see a ‘pillar’ nearby – interact with it and agree for a harder version of final boss.

The boss itself is mostly same but all his phases get ‘super blessing’ which makes them have much higher stats and one new move which ignores the protection of Ange.
You are still forced with Polca in 1st slot if you don’t take her, so no Naj.

I would say the fight is a bit easier compared to last fight against Geo Louise in ‘King’ form.

Keep 1 brother/mother necklace on Ange as boss has some nasty big hit moves.

Final phase of the battle is the most annoying where a lot of full party wipes will be used.
Some spirit soul stone uses might be required.

But on a positive note – final phase is ‘fast’ and it can be retried directly if your RNG fails and you get wiped.

It’s full RNG pretty much.. boss can both do nearly nothing or use some full party wipe multiple times in a row to nigh guarantee full party wipe…
First turn decides if you win or not usually.

Boss has increased accuracy but can’t bypass evasion so keeping it decreased with ‘Heavy Metal’ of Lily makes you almost guaranteed not to die.

The HP of boss is pretty low however – 2-3 turns of lucky Kalinka hits and a phase is done.

Reward is Seven’s Sword – a claw with dark element, +6 basic attacks and atk a bit lower than ‘heaven claw’/’tenka cloth’.
Basically a bit better than Tenka Cloth… or a lot if it hits someone weak to dark.

But there is nothing you can use it for aside of maybe trying some speedrun or something for fun…. since if you were following my guide – you have now completed absolutely everything in the game, congratulations!

Afterwords

That’s is for the guide, unfortunately this guide lacking images guide instruction, if you’re confused about specific part of secret and hidden item, you may refer to other guide for the image guide in detail. I hope you enjoy Demon Roots as I do, and have a good day.

P.S : Lily is the best girl, and Polca need a lot of hugs
